What is HKAWM?
HKAWM is an Institute connecting the asset and wealth management community through membership services, industry exchange and online professional learning. Website content is for general information.
Is membership a professional qualification or licence?
No. Membership is not an SFC licence, a statutory or regulated professional qualification, and does not guarantee an examination, licensing, employment or professional-recognition outcome.
Are self-declared RO/LR, employer and licence details verified?
Unless expressly stated otherwise, these details are self-declared and registration is not independent verification. Licensing status should be checked against the SFC Public Register.
How do I become a member?
Create a free account on the HKAWM learning platform, select the membership option in your registration information and follow the platform instructions.
Does free membership mean every course and event is free?
No. There is no separate membership fee, but an individual course, certificate service or event may carry a charge. Check the relevant page for current arrangements.
What does the learning platform provide?
It offers online learning related to asset management, wealth management and associated professional subjects. Topic, language, duration, access, assessment and certificate conditions vary by course.
How should promotion codes and payment records be understood?
A valid code may reduce part or all of the amount payable, so completed checkout does not necessarily mean cash was paid. The checkout page and payment record show the final amount.
What does a digital certificate mean?
A digital certificate reflects a certificate issue recorded by the platform. The course conditions and verifiable records govern the completion content, assessment and hours it represents. Certificate issue is the current operational proxy for public figures, not an independent audit of course completion; it can be checked through the official verification page. It is not itself a statutory licence or regulated professional qualification.
Are courses or certificates recognised as CPT/CPD?
Do not treat a course, hour or certificate as SFC- or regulator-recognised CPT/CPD unless the individual course page makes a clear and verifiable statement.
How do I ask about a refund, payment, receipt or invoice?
Email support@hkawm.com with your account email, course and order reference. Never send full payment-card details by email. The applicable purchase and checkout terms govern.
When are public figures updated?
Figures normally use a Hong Kong month-end cut-off and are refreshed monthly. Public values use thresholds and rounding down; see the Public Data Methodology.
